Centrally and conveniently located between Fayetteville and Rogers, Springdale is home to the corporate home offices of several major national companies including Tyson Foods and JB Hunt Transport. Family favorite Arvest Ballpark, is located just off I-49 in Springdale. Arvest Ballpark is home to the Naturals baseball team which is the Double-A affiliate for the Kansas City Royals. If cycling is your passion or pastime you will love the addition of the Razorback Regional Greenway, which connects all of the communities of Northwest Arkansas and runs through the middle of historic downtown Springdale. Many also enjoy the public bike park, indoor swimming pool, and ice skating rink at the Jones Center located downtown. Springdale is also home to the newly opened Northwest Arkansas Children’s Hospital conveniently located right off I-49.
Springdale Schools
Springdale is home to the (Red) Bulldogs of Springdale High School and the Wildcats of Harbor High School. It ranks as the second largest school district in Arkansas with over 22,000 students. You will find 18 elementary schools, four middle schools, four junior highs, and three high schools, including the Springdale School of Innovation. The population of Springdale is diverse as it’s schools are home to students of over 40 different languages. The largest population of Marshallese in the contiguous United States calls Springdale home. Springdale School District boasts the highest paid teacher salaries in the state and it’s home to nationally recognized teachers and students.
